LASilver Communications · The Framework
Six layers. Six behaviors. The system for building authority that AI recognizes and recommends.
A growing body of work, built in layers and practiced as behaviors, is the only thing that causes AI and buyers to reach for your name first. The RECORD Framework gives that body of work a structure.
Not a checklist a compounding system. Each layer strengthens the next.
Record · Expertise · Corroboration · Owned · Recognition · Documentation
Publishing is the foundation. Without a consistent output of credible content, there is no record to build on. What you publish becomes the raw material AI indexes, buyers discover, and journalists reference.
Content can be produced by anyone. Expertise is different: a new framework, a named idea, a category-defining perspective. It can only come from people who have lived in their domain long enough to see what others miss.
You cannot declare authority. You can only earn it. Then you make sure the evidence is findable. Corroboration is the layer where third parties do the vouching: media, analysts, peers, and customers all saying the same thing from their own independent positions.
Earned media builds the record. Owned channels anchor it. Your website, your pillar content, your knowledge assets are the home base AI triangulates back to when verifying who you are and what you stand for. If the foundation is weak, everything built on it is unstable.
Recognition compounds. Every AI citation, media quote, speaking invitation, and analyst mention is a signal that your authority is being received. This is the layer you watch to know whether the record is doing its job.
If AI can't parse it, AI can't cite it. Schema markup, metadata, entity consistency, and structured content aren't SEO tactics. They're the technical layer that lets AI accurately identify who you are, attribute your ideas, and surface your record with confidence.
The strongest brands don't chase visibility they build authority.
Before strategy, diagnosis. The RECORD Audit examines how AI and buyers currently understand your category, identifies exactly which layers of your record are missing or weak, and delivers a clear roadmap for closing the gap.
